East Teak Promotes Rick McKinney to Senior Vice President
25 Years of Excellence Rewarded
DALLAS – November 1, 2008
East Teak Fine Hardwoods, Inc., the industry leader in First European Quality teak and other fine exotic hardwood products, is pleased to announce the promotion of Rick McKinney to the position of Senior Vice President.
McKinney celebrates his 25th year with East Teak in 2008. In his new role as senior vice president, he will be responsible for the sourcing and purchasing process for new products and reliable suppliers.
Rick McKinney joined East Teak in 1983, where he was hired to handle lumber orders and operate woodworking machinery. During his many years with the company, he has served as manager for lumber and millwork operations, as well as general manager for the Sultan plant. He also started and managed East Teak’s flooring division.
"Rick has been a valuable employee to East Teak from the beginning," says Wayne Rogers, president. "He has proven himself time and again, and we value having his 25 years of experience to rely on."
